He estado leyendo acerca de los últimos días de Kafka. Quizás eso ha influido en la creación de esta obra. Cómo la transformación de un ser puede darse en las situaciones más mundanas y crear un híbrido extraordinario. En esta serie encontramos tres estados: el vigilante u observador, el trance y la metamorfosis. El observador es aquel personaje que sabe lo que está ocurriendo, incluso antes que los demás se den cuenta. Entiende la seriedad de la situación y su inevitabilidad. Sabe que está frente a un hecho único y constante. Conoce cada etapa del trance y de la metamorfosis. El observador es testigo y testimonio de la transformación. Guarda en su memoria un conocimiento milenario y lleva el peso de este sobre sus hombros. Cada trance es único, pero se repite en un loop a lo largo de los años. Los bailarines vendrán y entrarán en este estado de euforia, y luego vendrán otros y otros más. Es como si la deidad necesitara alimentarse de esta energía pasajera. Casi todos los bailarines pueden entrar en un estado místico, pero no todos logran la metamorfosis. A diferencia del trance, en que el bailarín es consciente, durante la metamorfosis no lo es. La persona no se da cuenta de su transformación. Esta se revela al observador, quien guarda silencio.

I've been reading about Kafka's last days. Perhaps that has influenced the creation of this work. How the transformation of a being can occur in the most mundane situations and create an extraordinary hybrid. In this series we find three states: the watcher or observer, the trance and the metamorphosis. The observer is that character who knows what is happening, even before others realize it. He or she understand the seriousness of the situation and its inevitability. He or she knows that he/she is facing a unique and constant moment. Knows each stage of trance and metamorphosis. The observer is a witness and testimony of the transformation. He or she keeps ancient knowledge in his/her memory and carries the weight of it on his/her shoulders. Each trance is unique, but repeats itself in a loop over the years. The dancers will come and enter this state of euphoria, and then others will come again. It is as if the deity needs to feed on this passing energy. Almost all dancers can enter a mystical state, but not all achieve metamorphosis. Unlike trance, in which the dancer is conscious, during metamorphosis the dancers are not. The dancer does not realize the transformation. This is revealed to the observer, who remains silent.
